we have a 11 week mini and want to leave his ears natural. The breeder is recommending cropping. We have heard of folding with a non permanent glue. Apparently, you apply this glue every few weeks for a couple of months. It is to keep the natural ears in the correct position. What are your thoughts. would a vet do this? I dont think I would want to attempt it.

Nellie & Tate are doing great. Nellie has figured out that "daddy" is the cook and the one with the food; she's so very smart. Tate is his own little man, he is cuddly with mom and all hugs and kisses, but is planning on running for the head of household seat with dad; poor dad… I think Tate’s going to win (Ha!)

We are so happy with them, can’t ever think how we ever had just one schnauzer before these two little kids came into our lives. You were so right, two is so much better and even though it’s a bit more work in the beginning, it is so very worth it.

Their favorite treats are Cheerios… yummy… we share them when training. Tate is a quick learner, Nellie just wants to kiss and lay on your lap. Can’t wait until winter to see how they are with the snow.

Oh yes… almost forgot, daddy loves to walk them around the neighborhood, we get many many comments on how beautiful they are. They took their first real trip into Manhattan this past weekend and were a bit nervous, but I hope they get use to the crowds... thank goodness for patience and time….

All my best to all of you. Think of Moxie all the time, especially when looking at Tate… he is so beautiful.

Love

Claudia and Allen

You guys should have a section about you two on your web site. I see lots on your dogs, but I would like to know more about their home environment rather than just the dogs themselves. Tell us all about you and how your dogs live with you on a daily basis

Webmaster Comments:
The site is about our dogs, not us. I see that you have read through the guestbook entries and you should have been able to see what kind of breeders we are by the comments throughout. We feel that all necessary information required for the public is already available on our website. If anybody wishes more information they can feel free to contact us by e-mail or by puppy inquiry submission form.

Hi Barry and Diane,

Your Schnauzer page was very informative, but I wanted to ask a question well a couple if you don't mind. Firstly I have an 18 month old boy, salt and pepper called elvis and he has grown to a weight of 26 pounds!!! people look at him and say miniature schnauzer then others who know schauzers say hes big is he a standard!!!!! I was sold him as a miniture, should I cut down on his food I give him 2 cups a day as well as treats. Second question I am about to go meet another schnauzer that is a rescue with the thought of getting elvis company, do schnauzers that have been the sole dog of the house get on with newcomers??

Thanks, I hope you have the time to answer.

Barry and Diane,

Congratulations on Libby's puppies, your first litter of whites. They are aboslutely BEAUTIFUL.

Maggie has just turned one years old back on May 15th. And she got a little spoiled... ok a lot, but she deserves it for bringing so much joy into our family's life. I will send you more pics of her soon.

Maggie sends you big KISSES!!

Well our little Cricket has finally joined our family and we are so happy! Waiting at the airport for her to arrive was hard but we did it and she was very happy to see us.

Thank you Diane and Barry for all your hard working with these puppies! They are beautiful and well adjusted pups. You sure can tell you guys love them just as much as their new families.

Thank you so much for our Cricket!

Diane & Barry,

Just two more days... I can't believe it... Nellie & Tate will be in their new home with their new parents.

I just finished looking at Moxies page, yet again, and feel so blessed to have two of the miracles she left on this earth. How lucky we are...

The house is puppy proof and ready for their arrival. I'm driving Allen crazy counting down the days; i've been doing it for two weeks already.

All my best.

Thank you for the lovely site. Two years ago, I lost one of my beloved schnauzers and recently my other one passed away. I found great comfort in your pages. Your Remi and Kamara could easily pass for my girls - it's amazing.
Thank you for your beautiful picture and site - it's lovely.

Love your page and all the photos. I prefer mini's WITH their ears left intact. I have a black mini -- Fletcher. He's the nicest dog I've ever known. One of those special dogs that come along so rarely in your life. He's nine but acts like a pup. He's always happy and so eager to please. I love him.
