| Jovi has been retired from stud service and neutered and he is living the good life as a treasured companion. We will keep his profile on our page as a tribute to his accomlishments! We had acquired this gorgeous new boy (though we had not yet met him!) and he was shown some in the competitive Ontario and Quebec show circuits before coming to reside with us. His first weekend out at 7 months of age, he spent acclimatizing to the show scene which he did very quickly. His second weekend out at Arnprior Canine Association, he acquired one 3pt BOW win towards his Canadian Championship and 3 Best Puppy in Group wins! He beat some very nice dogs for these wins including beating a Group 1st winner! His third weekend out at Forest City Kennel Club he won 2 more points towards his Championship. Halfway there and all under 8 months of age! Fourth weekend out, right at 8 months, two more 2 point BOW wins and 2 more Best Puppy In Group wins at Hochelaga Kennel Club in Quebec! For a pup who is barely 8 months old, with fully intact ears and tail, what an amazing show record he has so far, 9 points and 5 BPIG, in just one month of showing! Well today was Jovi's big day! At just over 8 months of age, Jovi became only the 4th fully intact natural eared and natural tailed Miniature Schnauzer in the country to receive his CKC Championship, all earned in stiff competition! Today (June 2/11)Jovi went Best Of Breed for 2 more points, even beating an Am/Can CH who is currently #1 Minature Schnauzer in the country, who just happens to be his father Joker! Jovi received yet another Best Puppy In Group today also, what a great way for him to finish! Jovi has made us so proud, having such a winning show career all as a Junior puppy, barely over 8 months of age! |
